Swiss Wellness Tour

Destination:

6 nights summer program

1st day:

Arrival in Zurich - Airport in the morning pick up by the guide and the Minibus, drive to Interlaken, Overnight in Interlaken. Indian Dinner in Interlaken.

2nd day:

Titlis and Lucerne

Excursion to Engelberg and visit of the Mount Titlis. The Titlis is the highest glacier excursion destination and biggest ski and snowboard paradiese in Central Switzerland. The Titlis, Engelberg's "House Mountain" and it's glacier park are accessible by revolving rotair cableway. At an altitude of 3020 metres above sea level visitors are treated to a fabulous view of the central Alps. The Titlis Glacier Park and "Ice Flyer" chairlift are a paradise for those keen to glide down the slopes on skis or some of the other snow-gliding equipment for beginners and adventurers which is available free of charge and there are a freestyle park, glacier grotto in the eternal ice and walking options on the Titlis. Visit of Lucerne and Cruise on the Lake Lucerne, Excursion to the famous sightseeing attractions in Lucerne including Chapel Bridge, Lion Monument and Hofkirche. Enjoy a cruise on the lake lucerne which is fascinating due ist picturescque landscape and historical sites, Overnight in Interlaken, Indian Dinner in Interlaken.

3rd day:

Jungfraujoch

Full day excursion to Jungfraujoch. The Jungfrau Railway, which leads through the heart of the mountains and up to the highest train station in Europe (at 3454 meters above sea level), offers unbelievable views of the mountain giants Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau and of the longest river of ice in the Alps. The Jungfrau Railway leads from Kleine Scheidegg up to Jungfraujoch. It climbs nearly 1400 meters in height and covers a distance of more than seven kilometers in tunnels along the nine kilometer long stretch. In the interior of the summit at Europe's highest train station (the peak is called "Sphinx"), a lift takes visitors to the peak with it's observatory and the famous observation platform, from which one has a magnificent view of the mountains and the Aletsch Glacier. The Jungfrau-Aletsch rgion with it's unique plant and animal world is the first Unesco World Natural Heritage Site in the entire Alpine region. Further sights include the Ice Palace, the Si and Snowboard Park and the glacier restaurant "Top of Europe". Indian Lunch at the Restaurant Top of Europe. Overnight in Interlaken, Indian Dinner at Interlaken.

4th day

Leukerbad

Largest thermal baths and wellness resort. Leukerbad is the largest spa and wellness resort in the Alps - and this in combination with a rich offering of sports and culture as well! Most of the thermal baths and wellness appications are open to the pubicand available to guests all year round. A copious supply of 3.9 million litres of 51°C flows into the therrmal baths of Leukerbad every single day, bringing relief to body and soul. Even the Ancient Romans appreciated the hot springs of Leukerbad and took the waters both to forget the stress of their increasingly hectic everyday lives and to replenish their stocks of energy. 5th day:

Panoramic Express Interlaken - Montreux

The Panoramic Expess train is a part of the famous Golden Pass Line from Lucerne to Montreux. The golden-colored, elegant trains take passengers from Interlaken to the famous resort town of Gstaad and to the banks of Lake Geneva to Montreux. Montreux, located on Lake Geneva and protected by 2000 meter-high Mountain peaks, is famous for ist mild climate and subtropical vegetation. This is where the Panoramic-Express is going to. The Express streamlined golden cars on narrow-gauge tracks offer superb views and ride uphill via Zweisimmen and Gstaad. The journey takes you from Interlaken in the Bernese Oberland through the pristine mountain world along the lake Thun and continues throught the Simmen Valley past richly decorated, characteristic farmhouses. Lunch in an Indian Restaurant in Montreux. In the evening come back from Montreux to Interlaken, Overnight at Interlaken, Indian Dinner at Interlaken.

6th day

Full day in Zurich for optional Excursions and Shopping As a "metropolis of experiences" by the water, with a magnificent view of the snowcapped Alps on the horizon, Zurich offers a unique mixture of attractions - over 50 museums and more than 100 art galleries, international fashion labels and Zurich designs, and the most flamboyant and lively nightlife in Switzerland. Recreational activities range from a visit to the riverside and lakeside bathing areas in the very heart of the city, to a spectacular hike on the Uetliberg mountain. Dinner at an Indian Restaurant in Zurich, Excursion "Zurich by Night" Overnight at a hotel in Zurich.

7th day

In the morning drive from Zurich to the airport fly back to india.

View Point Glacier 3000 The mountain station located at 3000 meters above sea level was designed by the famous architect Mario Botta The View Point is reached by walking a few feet to a staircase that leads to the top. It is located next tot the Mountain Restaurant Botta. Once you reach the top, your view sweeps across the fabulous 360° panorama. The most beautiful Alpine peaks - fro Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau to the Matterhorn and Mont-Blanc - can be admired from here. No less than 24 four-thousand-meter peaks delight the visitor

Rhine Falls - Spectacular Falling Water To stand high above Europes largest waterfall feeling the roar and vibration of the water over ones entire body - this can be experienced at the Rhine Falls near Schaffhausen. By ship one can reach castles, the Rhine Falls Basn and even the mighty rock in the midst of the waterfall. Due to tectonic shifts in the Ice Age, the Rhine River was forced into a new riverbed oveer 15'000 years. The rock can be reached on a circular tour of the Rhine Falls, during which one can observe the natural spectacle from up close. Virtually in the middle of the waterfall, visitors stand on platforms that jut out and partially hover over the Rhine. Visit of the IWC Watch Factory and Museum in Schaffhausen
