We have no influence on the decisions made by the competent authorities. All travel related vouchers like hotel, restaurant, rail pass, entrances etc. will be issued at the time of confirmation of services. In many cases the documents will be delivered to your first arrival hotel by post. It is not possible for us to handover any travel documents upon arrival in Switzerland entry points, including Airports, Train-Rail stations, by road entry points. However at mutually agreed situation, upon additional payment the vouchers can be handed over at a certain pre decided place.
Special Care and Needs
All guests are advised to take medical insurance. This is important. All inoculations as advised and necessary should be obtained. All medication, especially that taken routinely, is individual responsibility and a doctor’s prescription should be presented if needed.
In case any special assistance, care or dietary requirements need to be kept in mind by us, please highlight them at the time of booking. We are sensitive and will do our best to ensure the guest is always comfortable.
Payment Policy
We expect all payments to be made in full before the arrival of the guests. This is because all payments have to be made by us in advance too. Initial payment needs to be made at the time of confirmation and the final payment must be made at least 15 days before the guests arrive. All bookings are subject to payment realization. In case of cancellation, our cancellation policy holds good. We will do our best to ensure minimal charges are deducted.
Travel Agent
All travel agents and agents of any other nature who introduce the guest to us will remain the point of contact for all purposes for the guest. Swiss Incoming will only be responsible to uphold the promised services as on voucher. Swiss Incoming will not be held responsible in case the travel agent fails to uphold our policies e.g. not making full payment before arrival of guest and the repercussion of canceled services, late payment and change in tariff etc.
Mode of Payment
In this world of electronic payments, we can accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Electronic Fund Transfers. Some credit card companies can impose a “Foreign Transaction Fee” even though your transaction is denominated in CHF | U.S. Dollars | Euro. This is an arbitrary fee that occurs in a small number of cases and accrues entirely to the credit card–issuing bank. We do not control these bank-imposed fees nor do we derive any benefit from them, monetary or otherwise; we are therefore unable to accept responsibility for the fees.
Cancellation Policy
All bookings for packages, hotels, trains, local transportation, sightseeing entrance fees and /or restaurant bookings, whether partially paid, or paid in full, will attract cancellation charges. These will be mentioned on the voucher and will be binding. For any exceptions to the Cancellation Policy contact your travel agent or Swiss Incoming office.
Gratuities
It is customary to give gratuities everywhere around the world, subject to satisfaction of services rendered of course! These are not included in the cost and need to be given directly by the guests.
Force Majeure
We stand committed to deliver all that we promise, but are resigned before anything that is beyond our control. Things that can impact our services and prevent fulfillment of our promises, like acts of God, strikes, lock out, lockouts or labour difficulties and shortages, breakdown or damage of transportation services, war, government restraint, civil commotion, political disturbance, threats of terrorism, riots, insurrection, adverse weather conditions, or other circumstances that we cannot dictate absolve us of any responsibility or liability and indemnify Swiss Incoming.
