Engelberg - Titlis:

The high valley of Engelberg in Central Switzerland boasts an action-packed summer and winter programme while also offering every opportunity for relaxation. The Titlis is the highest glacier excursion destination and biggest ski and snowboard paradise in Central Switzerland. The Titlis, Engelberg's "house mountain" and it's glacier park are accessible by revolving rotair cableway. At an altitude of 3020 metres above sea level visitors are treated to a fabulous view of the central Alps. The Titlis Glacier Park and "Ice Flyer" chairlift are a paradise for those keen to glide down the slopes on skis or some of the other snow-gliding equipment for beginners and adventurers which is available free of charge. And thre are a freestyle park, glacier grotto in the eternal ice and walking options on the Titlis.

Jungfrau Joch - Top of Europe:

The Jungfrau Railway, which leads through the heart of the mountains and up to the highest train station in Europe (3454 meters above sea level), offers unbelievable views of the mountain giants Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau and of the longest river of ice in the Alps. In the interior of the summit at Europe's highest train station (the peak is called "Sphinx"), a lift takes visitors to the peak with ist observatory and the famous observation platform, from which one has a magnificent view of the mountains and the Aletsch Glacier. The Jungfrau-Aletsch region with it's unique plant and anomala world is the first Unesco World Natural Heritage Site in the entire aline region. Further sights include the Ice Palace, the Ski and Snowboard Park and the glacier restaurant "Top of Europe".

Schilthorn - Mürren:

The aluminum-covered revolving restaurant "Piz Gloria" on the Schilthorn was used in the filming of a few key scenes in the James Bond movie "On Her Majesty's Secret Service". There is a permanent exhibition that reminds one of this fact. The Schilthorn, which is 2970 meters high, is the highest peak of the Bernese pre Alps and offers a fantastic panoramic view of the mountain landscape. Modernized aerial cable cars lead to "Piz Gloria", where over 50 kilometers of prepared ski runs and a magnificent Alpine hiking region await the visitors in the summer.

View Point Glacier 3000: Bernese Oberland

The mountain station located at 3000 meters above sea level was designed by the famous architect Mario Botta. The View Point is reached by walking a few feet to a staircase that leads to the top. It is located next to the Mountain Restaurant Botta. Once you reach the top, your view sweeps across the fabulous 360° panorama. The most beautiful Alpine peaks from Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau to the Matterhorn and Mont Blanc - can be admired from here. No less than 24 four-thousand-meter peaks delight the visitor.

Pilatus - Lucerne / Lake Lucerne Region:

Maker of wheater, dragons lair, home to giants and grave of rulers: Lucerne very own mountain, Pilatus is one of the most legendary place in Central Switzerland and one of the most beautiful. On a clear day the mountain offers a panoramic view of 73 Alpine peaks. The mountain massif of Pilatus, which towers above the region with it's 2132 meters in height, indubitalgy captures the imagination. Even today Pilatus is a source of mystical discoveries and is home to place of natural beauty that are steeped in legend and lore. The mountain can be reached from Lucerne by gondola lift and aerial cable car and from Alpnachstad with the world's steepes rack-railroad. Thus a special roundtrip tour is possible, involving journeys by paddle steamer, rack-railroad, aerial cable car and bus.

Rigi - Lucerne / Lake Lucerne Region:

A breathtaking panoramic view across the Alps, 13 lakes and over the entire Swiss Mittelland through to Germany and France can be enjoyed from the summit of Rigi. A network of walking trails of over a hundred kilometres extends down along the flanks of the mountain. The Rigi is also well known for its rich Alpine flora of around 1000 species. A cableway leads from Vitznau to Hinterbergen, where guests can enjoy the views from the sun terrace of the restaurant. A further small cableway transports visitors from Vitznau to the Wissifluh mountain restaurant, a starting point for many walks and treks. The traffic-free resort of Rigi Kaltbad, the Queen of the Mountains with its heavenly peace and clear air, offers an ideal change of scenery for the finest days of the year. Visitors to Rigi discover a broad range of activities awaiting them: ski pistes, sled runs, ice rinks. Panoramic cross-country courses, horse-drawn sleigh rides and 30 km of winter rambling paths. Connections to Rigi are excellent with cog railways from Vitznau and Goldau and a cable car from Weggis.

Harder - a viewing Pulpit between Thuner - Brienzersee Interlaken

Already in Interlaken you get a magnificent view of the famous mountain trio of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. But the high Alpine, glaciated world of four-thousand-meter peaks can be surveyd and admired even better atop the 1322-meter Mount Harder. The funicular has climbed Interlaken's local mountain since 1908. It seems as if nature had intended to build this kind of viewing pulpit just for the benefit of tourists. The funicular's valley station is close to the Interlaken Ost Train Station. During the 8-minute ride up Mount Harder, the train rolls on steep tracks through a forest belt. A gradienet of 64 percent has to be overcome. Because of the complex geological conditions, half of the stretch had to built on bridges. From the valley station you will get in a few minutes to Harder-Kulm, a restaurant with turrets and a red tiled roof, whose architecture is protected as a Swiss heritage site. From the panoramic terrace you can catch a broad view of the famous lakes of Interlaken. Thun and Brienz as well as the Bernese Mountains rising behind them.
